Months ago I found a "free online photo contest". I knew this was likely a come on yet, didn't much care. I was more interested in receiving the photography books w/ my pic in it. That was nearly 4 months ago.
I looked further into the website to find: 1) there is no contact number or address. 2) the site is listed as being in Canada 3) the VeriSign account symbol at the bottom of the page is fraudulently being used / and was just cut & pasted into the site w/out an update link page 4) the company has no public listing when looking up Photo Laureates or the billing company name, using the Canadian Online Phone Directory. I emailed the "help desk" and have not heard anything re: my order.
A lesson learned.
